The Preservation Campaign is dedicated to work on the house that will ensure that it will remain strong for another 150 years. Yet the Philadelphia Girls' Rowing Club has ongoing needs that are only partially covered by members’ dues. We are proud of our state-of-the-art fleet, which needs to be maintained and turned over on a regular basis. Our novices receive the best training on Boathouse Row, with the expenses that good training requires. Keeping up with our aging building means daily expenses that are not part of the capital campaign to preserve the building. Even the Braxton Regatta has many upfront costs that need to be covered.

You can choose to donate to the area of greatest need, or you can make a restricted donation limiting your support to one of the following:

  1. Annual Fund

  2. Operations (General Fund)

  3. Program funding

  4. Braxton Regatta

The Philadelphia Girls' Rowing Club has 501(c)(3) tax exempt status.

Legacy

Many people also choose to include their charitable interests in their long range financial planning. The will is one of the most popular vehicles for making long range gifts. Countless gifts, small or large, are arranged by people of all means, in all walks of life. You might consider including a charitable gift in your will or other estate plans. More information is available upon request, in confidence, and with no obligation.
